Global Manufacturer Seeks Vice President of Sales
[POSITION FILLED] October 15, 2021 – Schaffer Associates is recruiting for a Vice President of Sales – Lowe’s for a fast-paced global manufacturing company with national branding. Our client is looking for a high-energy and enthusiastic Vice President of Sales to take ownership of client relationships, initially with Lowe’s and possibly with other national accounts down the road. Based in Charlotte, NC, this individual will be hyper-responsive to clients via phone, email, and meetings to discuss their needs and offer solutions. In addition, this position will be responsible for educating clients on the Company’s services and for solving problems in order to successfully close deals while providing a superior client experience throughout the process. The ideal candidate will operate as an individual contributor, will have experience developing relationships, and will have a proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales goals.

Responsibilities:
- Profitably meet and exceed sales quotas.
- Continually identify, build, and develop new business with strategic targets in client’s key market segments.
- Maintain sales pipeline management with contact/opportunity/lead lists in Microsoft Teams.
- Instigate and manage regular meetings with client and deliver results from these meetings.
- Know and understand the needs of the key account throughout its geography.
- Collaborate and problem solve with sales support departments to maximize sales potential.
- Willingness and ability to travel as required to review field activities and for networking conferences that will require occasional overnight stays.
- Monitor competitor activities and market trends to stay abreast of industry developments.
- Assist senior management in the development and updating of the client’s business plans.
- Ad hoc projects as needed.
Additional Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a field sales management position.
- Minimum five years in business development or sales.
- Requires experience with Microsoft Office applications and willingness to learn/use mobile and web-based sales and project management applications.
- The position will be based in Mooresville, NC
