Window and Door Manufacturer Seeks Territory Sales Executive

Schaffer Associates is recruiting for a Territory Sales Executive for a leading custom window and door manufacturer in the NYC area. Our Client is an industry leader in fenestration products, known for their expertise in design & manufacture to ensure the highest performance available in their product lines.

Reporting to the President, the Territory Sales Executive will cover the territory in the New York City & New Jersey areas, selling to Architects and Builders in the quality, custom, high-end residential window and door market. Our Client is looking for a sales strategist who can develop new business and grow the territory. ***Candidates for consideration must have experience in selling Windows & Doors to Architects and Builders. ***



  • Sales efforts will focus on high-end residential Architects and Builders to present the product line for prospective projects.
  • Expected to develop a strong knowledge of the products and articulate the competitive advantages of highly-engineered fenestration systems vs. other manufacturers.
  • Must have the ability to review and understand residential architectural drawings.
  • Effectively work with project management support and marketing literature, physical samples, and product show trucks to facilitate sales efforts.
  • Responsible for taking a project from inception to the quote phase, clarifying all necessary options and specifications, ultimately finalizing projects into a sales contract before handoff to the project management team.
  • Must possess exceptional oral and written communication and presentation skills with an emphasis on customer service.



  • 5+ years of professional experience in Architectural Sales.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office.



  • Ability to network and build relationships.
  • Self-motivated with a strong work ethic to proactively follow up on sales leads.
  • Ability to travel.
