In the early days of 2018, our industry knew the year ahead would be one of opportunity and challenge. We anticipated an economy that would continue to strengthen, and strengthen it did. It helped grow our industry in 2018 in ways we haven’t seen since before the Great Recession. But this runaway-train economy also brought less available talent, more empty positions, and organizational growing pains across all sectors. All in all, 2018 played out as we expected it would, which is a largely positive development for the industry as a whole.
For those of us at Schaffer Associates, 2018 was another year in which the Lord graciously blessed us far beyond what we imagined. We want to thank Him for His goodness and provision through a year that brought new challenges – and new opportunities – to our firm. We also want to thank all of you – our former, current, new, and potential clients – for being a part of this successful year. The relationships we have throughout this industry are our top priority and we look forward to continuing to work with all of you in 2019.
